Loved being able to try different sauces and salsas. Didn't get to spend as much time as I'd like, so didn't get to check everything out. Actually went in twice, but was in such a hurry I still missed most of the stuff. Spoke with the manage a bit, she was super cool and helpful.

ALL HAIL SCOVILLE! There is enough heat in this joint to light it on fire and blow it up at least three times! Beautiful! Only I among my close friends would travel to South Carolina secretly hoping to find a place where the rare Carolina Reaper peppers can be found, and here they are! Hidden among the tourists and info booths, behind "visitor" shops that are really a front for time share companies, at "Broadway at the Beach". As I walked in, I knew right away - I had found all that is spicy, all that is good, and all that will surely melt a face right off. YAY! I scoured the shelves - Blair, Dave, Da Bomb, 357, Fire of this, Death Sauce that, and there it was! A tiny bottle of Carolina Reaper powder. The last one! (No surprise there.) The nice lady at the counter was very pleasant and gave me many samples of a wide variety of things I've never tried, the layout of the store is bright and easy to browse, and the prices are clearly marked. While every other type of sauce with heat is fine and good, now that I've tried just a dash of the Carolina Reaper powder in my chili - there's no turning back... Flame On! My hot head friends, Flame On!

Pepper Palace is always a must stop every trip to Myrtle Beach! This place is filled from floor to ceiling with hot sauces, barbecue sauces, salsas, and horseradish. We love getting the chance to sample a few of the different options. It always leads to extra purchases, usually of a couple new barbecue sauces we most likely wouldn't have looked twice at before tasting.

Normally I would give this place 4-5 stars when we visit Myrtle Beach. This time it is getting two stars because at 7:50, an hour and 10 minutes before closing the staff member had already put away all samples for the night. And he wasn't interested in providing any samples when asked if they still offer samples. Very disappointed as this is one place we always stop at during our vacation.

Lots of hot sauces and salsas. They seem to keep up with the latest, hottest varieties but also have milder stuff. Lots of samples. Scorpion salsa very hot and probably tasty. Too hot to tell. I'm growing some of these chiles in my garden - not sure why. Good prices on our favorites: Melinda's and Vampfire.

Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. One complaint was the Wall of Flame was about a YEAR behind in having photos added. That's one of the things I went for. I am a top-notch chile head and love the hot stuff. The Flashbang hot sauce and the Death by Salsa were definitely what I was looking for. No Ghost Pepper flakes, though. GREAT to be able to sample the various salsas and sauces.

You like SPICE? You like a SAMPLES? This is the place to fulfill these desires. The staff was just my kind of staff; available, friendly, but not in your face. Nobody is standing at the samples trying to get you to buy their stuff after you try a bite. Nobody is giving you the eye for trying one of everything if you wanted to. They had salsas, mustards, wing sauces, so on. 5 stars because if you enjoy life with a kick and you're in the area then you deserve to visit here. Only issue: they don't have ghost pepper flakes. Not sure if ill ever find it outside of the Internet at this point ):

I've never been to a pepper store before so this was quite interesting. I tried various sorts of salsa that they had ranging from fruit salsa, mild, to XX-HOT. Some of the medium salsas should be mild. The salsa that is named, "Death by Salsa" is HOT. I have a pretty high tolerance for hot, spicy food and so does my best friend, and our boyfriends were SHOCKED that they saw us with such a reaction. However, we bought the jar to bring home. HAHA :] It's definitely a cool spot to check out!

You want to add a little spice to your life for free? Then go visit the Pepper Palace store at Broadway at the Beach and sample some of the best and hottest sauces from around the world. It was a lot of fun trying sauces that I would never ever known for free. Some were delicious and some were just "burning with pain" hot. No, I did not dare to try for the "Wall of Flame." But some did and wish they didn't. All you have to do is sample the "The hottest Sauce in the Universe" or Nasal Napalm- Horseradish and you'll go on the Wall of Flame. It's not for amateurs! It is also a great place for souvenir for friends that love hot sauces.

We visit this place at least once when we visit Myrtle Beach. We wanted to go here a second time for some of their dip mixes, but never got a chance to go back. We will be sure to stop there next time we are in town. The service is excellent and the selection is crazy!! I really like that you can try almost every sauce/salsa that they carry. Makes it easy to decided on which items to get and you don't feel bad having to waste a salsa or sauce because of the flavor. We love this store and will be back!

YESSSSSS so many dips....with so many chips!!!!!! We spent quite some time in here making sure we tried every salsa/jam/dip...They were all pretty delicious. And the staff was nice...he opened a new jar for us because we wanted to try one that wasn't set out. :D I bought 3 jars. There's a buy 5 get 1 deal that's pretty sweet if you combine forces with friends.

I don't think I tried anything I didn't like! I'm not a huge fan of the extremely hot sauces, but they still had good tastes. Loves the cayenne and garlic mustard. The pumpkin butter and the sweet potato/pecan butter was great too. Will certainly be ordering more when I run out!

Glorious rows of chips. Of hot sauce. Of salsa. This is what you see when you first step into this fine establishment. All there...for your enjoyment and tasting. 20 minutes into the experience my mouth was living a dream and I felt the slight burning on my lips was a way of it thanking me for giving it some spark in its life. At this moment my eyes were tearing with joy and surely the residual burn of the ghost peppers in the hottest sauce I just tried. At this moment a 20-24 year old man walks in and briskly grabs the second to hottest sauce. He's been here before. I overheard him talking to the cashier "Yeah if you want flavor and a high level spice then there is no other sauce better than this one. My friends were putting tabasco on their homecooked fajitas...I can't believe it..." He was serious about his hot sauces. I wanted to be him. I wish I could come here every weekend.

This is a place that we visit EVERY time we're in Myrtle Beach!! Their selection is second to none, and given the fact that you can taste pretty much everything before buying it, why go anywhere else?
